Another boring day

God, I have been so lazy lately. All I want to do is sleep, do crossword puzzles, and watch tv/movies. I have been in my pj's all day as well and I think that after this I am gonna go put on shorts and a sports bra. Figured that I should at least do an hour of exercising since I haven't done anything at all today. Give me an excuse to say that I at least did something.

So my sister told me today some bad news. My Nana has terminal cancer and has like 2-3 months left. We just got the news today. Really sucks. Johna will be heading back to Newport when the time comes which will be nice. I love having my sister come to visit but this is one visit where I wish she didn't have to come back. I'm kinda in shock cause Nana has always been strong and now that she's really sick it's kinda unreal. So yeah...I don't know.

A boring but relaxing Friday night

So I was suppose to go out to The Blue's Building tonight to go see Bubblegum Villains but I thought it was at 9 pm. I was wrong and it actually starts at 8 pm. Since it's in Smithfield and I have no clue where it is I decided to just stay in. I feel bad for not going cause I said I would go but I would be so late if I left now. I am so relaxed at home and I just don't feel like doing anything now. Plus I kinda want to catch up on homework even if it isn't due until Wed.

Josh and I went to Tranquil Waters Spa today after our luncheon at work and his meeting. Though Josh said it would only take 10 mins so I should wait but it ended up being 2 hours of waiting. Lucky for him I had things and people to entertain me while I waited for his stupid ass. lol. I called to make an appointment on the way up to Seekonk and lucky for us that they were able to fit us in. Josh and his last minute idea to go get a spa treatment. I made an appointment for us to get a relaxation massage for 50 mins. They asked if we wanted seperate rooms or just get it together. Josh and I decided that we'll do it together. It was a bit ackward cause we had to take off all our clothes except our underwear. The beds were so nice and warm that when the massage was over I so did not want to get out. The massage was so good. I am definitely doing this again.

As soon as we were done with the massages we went to Chili's for dinner. Then Josh drove me back to Newport. Now I am home watching tv switching between iCarly and NCIS. Umm...nothing else to say except that I am really excited about going to see Lady Gaga with Josh, Gina, and maybe Josh's boyfriend Cris. Oh, and that Superbowl is on Sunday. YAY!!!!

Bachlorette/Sara and Kyle's wedding

First off I want to say CONGRADULATIONS to Mr. & Mrs. Kyle Fullerton. It was an amazing and beautiful wedding. I have to say that it almost made me cry especially when Sara started crying. Though I want to start this blog off from the bachlorett party so I am not gonna say anymore.

The bachlorette party was on Thursday, January 22, and I started my day off getting my nails done with some of the bridal party. It was fun doing that. I wasn’t too thrilled about seeing Dawn at first but I got over it and we actually hugged when I left. I had girl scouts at 3:15 with Gina and we got out around 4:30. Gina and I had a few hours to waste before we were to go over to Lisa’s for dinner. We showered and got our stuff ready because everyone was getting ready at Lisa’s. Dinner was at 6:30 pm and it was ziti and bread. Really good. Lisa made a drink called Consensual Sex with Sara. I could drink that drink all night. Lots of pictures were taken. We played Never Have I Ever while we waited for the time to come to get ready to go out. I learned a lot about people that night but then again I always learn a lot from that game. Sara opened up some gifts consisting of nice sexy lingerie. Also, Sara had to open up the penis pinata with her leg muscles but she finally got tired of it and ripped off the head. Kate made a penis cake which was really good even though Sara and I shared a piece. There was penis balloon that Sara had to put a face on. She made it look mad. Lol. Finally it was time to get ready and it took everyone a lot less time than we thought to get ready. Everyone looked hot in there dresses or dress pants and blouse. I had 5 different dresses because I couldn’t decide what to wear and everyone helped me finally pick one dress. We decided on the long purple one shoulder dress. The designated drivers were Rob, Billy, and Laura. I ended up in the car with Sara, Lisa, and Rob. The bachlorette party was at Foxwoods. At first we gambled some because Laura’s father I believe gave her some playing chips. Sara won $15 and then we cashed some of the chips in cause they were old and we couldn’t play with them. The party ended up at some lounge with a live band. We ordered drinks and then passed out the bachlorette dare cards to everyone. I believe we all ended up with 5 cards each. The dare cards said things like get a man to buy you shot, get a man’s underwear and get him to sign it, have someone sing you a love song, have a man purpose to you, get a picture with a married man, give a love letter to a man when his date is right there, call the last number on someone’s phone and talk to them, and so many more. Everyone had tons of fun with those cards. Gina won the dares with 375 points I believe. I only had 200 points. The lounge closed at midnight because it was only Thursday so we gambled alittle more. Sadly Sara lost everything this time. On the way home Sara rode in Laura’s car so I got the whole back seat to myself which was nice because I got to stretch out. I was really happy that Gina was driving home cause I was so drunk. I think the lemon drop shot put me over the edge.

Friday I did absolutely nothing. I woke up with a nice headache but I wasn’t feeling that bad. I stopped into work to say hi to Josh and got my W-2. Went home for a few hours and then I went back over to Gina’s because Leanne was over. I think I blogged that night and my title did not make any sense. Sorry about that.

Saturday, January 24, the wedding day. I woke up around 11 and packed all of my stuff that I would need to get ready for the wedding at Gina’s. Leanne, Gina, and I decided to get ready together. I got to Gina’s house around noon and Leanne showed up maybe an hour later. It took us a bit to all get ready since we all had to shower, put on make up, do our hair if we had enough hair to do something with, and then finally get into our dresses and heels. We thought we were going to be late getting to the church because Gina was having issues deciding what heels and coat to wear. Then Gina and I forgot our cameras but luckly we were still pulling out of the driveway when I noticed. Got to the church on time though we thought we were late because we saw the limo outside. Rob showed us our seats and then we waited for the ceremony to begin. The ceremony was really nice and actually was funny a few times. The maid of honor was Lisa and the bridesmaids were Kelly, Kate, Becca, and Dawn. Friends of Sara either from high school or college. I knew Lisa and Dawn and got to know the other girls either at the bridal shower or bachlorette party. Sadly, I do not know Kyle as well. I met him a couple times at parties but that was pretty much it. The whole wedding party looked so nice. Everyone at the wedding got to see and talk to Sara and Kyle at the end of the ceremony. When it was time for them to go take pictures with the rest of the wedding party all the guest lined up outside to throw bird seeds at them on their way to the limo. Some of us were debating if we wanted to open up the bag of bird seeds or just throw the whole bag of bird seeds at them. Though we were all nice and just threw the bird seeds. Once, the wedding party was gone to go take pictures Gina, Leanne, and I went back to the house to go charge Gina’s camera.
The reception was at The Officer’s Club and Leanne, Gina, and I arrived there around 6 pm. We got there as soon as they opened the door. Found our names and table and then went straight to the bar. While we waited for Sara, Kyle, and the rest of the party to show up I got to know the people at my table. Gina and Leanne were at my table as well as Amanda and Greg. Shane and Tim were people I did not know and then there was another couple but I can not remember their name at the time. I want to say that the girl’s name is Megan but I’m not sure. Sara and Kyle’s first dance was very touching. The speeches made by Lisa and Kyle’s best man, Brian, were great and funny. Lisa forgot her speech but she winged it pretty well and I don’t think anyone noticed. Dinner was so good. After dinner there was a lot of dancing. Shane was the first person I slow danced with and he stayed around through most of the other songs as well. The Italian dance where everyone made a circle around the couple and wedding party was tons of fun but I thought I would be squished everytime we had to go in the circle to hug the couple and there were times I got stuck between the other circle and the tables. I danced with Rob a couple of times and he was so cute trying to dance. He definitely made me laugh on the dance floor. My feet were starting to kill me on the dance floor but I did not want to stop dancing. I figured that as long as I have enough alcohol in me I would not feel the pain in my feet. When it was time to cut the cake and feed it to each other Kyle and Sara were nice about it. No smearing of cake on each others face. The DJ played a couples trivia with them on the dance floor. Sara and Kyle only got like a couple questions right but it was pretty funny watching them decide on who’s shoe to raise. Kate was the one who caught the bouquet of flowers but then again as soon as I saw the flowers heading my way I moved away and so did the others who were right next to Kate. Lol. I felt really sad that the night was ending when the DJ played the last song but at the same time really excited because it was time for Sara and Kyle to head back to their hotel room for some quality time. A lot of us didn’t want the night to end yet so we decided that we would head over to O’Brien’s. Lots more drinking there. Stayed until closing time and then I finally got to pass out on the couch in Gina’s room.

I remember waking up the next day with such a horrible headache and I did not want to open my eyes at all. It took about a good hour for me to finally get my head out of the covers and be able to function enough. Later Gina told me that I had facebooked Marc and Johna a couple interesting messages but I do not remember them at all. Gina and I went to Bishop’s for breakfast/lunch and then to my work to go visit Josh. The rest of the day I continued to recover from the reception. So that is pretty much everything I can remember. This was the best wedding I have been to in awhile. I wish that I could put all my pictures on here but I just choose the ones that shared enough of the good times.

Downtime before night before Sara's wedding

So I am definitely going to write all about the bachlorette party and the wedding but I want to wait until everything is over so I can write about everything all at once. I'm hanging over Gina's house right now with Leanne. I think we are going to watch Mortal Combat once we are done watching an episode of Bones. It's been such a lazy day today and its been really nice. I am not really sure if Katie D. will be joining us. Guess have to wait and see. I am so excited that I am hanging out with Leanne. I really missed her.

I woke up at like 12:30 pm today and was really happy that Gina had brought me up some water. I so needed it. Then Gina and I made some breakfast and then went and did some errands. Stopped by work to see Josh since I told him I would. It was nice seeing some of my other coworkers that I haven't seen in awhile. After that I fell asleep for like another couple of hours. Gonna get going caused I am way distracted by the tv. So be waiting for the next entry about Sara's bachlorette and wedding. YAY for Sara and Kyle!

Waiting for Bleach to download

So I am waiting for the new Bleach episode to download and figured while I am waiting I should write. I am so addicted to this show now thanks to Marc. If you haven't seen it you should try watching it one day. Marc randomly decided to show me this show one day when we had nothing else better to do. I am glad that he downloaded all the episodes he had on his computer to mine so I could catch up.

Anyways, went to trivia at O'Brien's tonight after awhile. O'Brien's closed down for over a week for renovations so my Tuesday night was different last week. My team ended up coming in 2nd place. We were doing really well until the 2nd bonus question and that screwed us up. Sadly there were no Science questions. The Bud lite girls were there promoting the beer and if you were drinking Bud lite you could enter into winning a trip up to some ski resort in Maine. They had free beer can opener keychains. It was a fun night of drinking and trivia. I wish that Sara showed up but she was playing poker with some other friends. Can't wait to see her on Thursday.

My first class starts tomorrow at 11:30....though technically it starts today since it is 12:30 am right now. I get to sit in a classroom for 3 hours but as least as its a one day a week class so I can deal. I looked through the 2 books for the class today and they don't look that bad. It was kinda exciting to get all my books and school supplies. It has been awhile so it was exciting at first. I think that its gonna be a bit strange getting back into the school mood since I have been out for almost 2 years now. I am so glad that Nicole is in this class tomorrow. After class I believe that Gina and I are going to Warwick tomorrow to shop for some things that she needs. Then I think I might go to the party on base with my mom. Not sure yet... Well, guess that's it for now. I think Bleach should be done downloading now and if not it should be done in a few. Want to watch it before I go to bed tonight.

Lazy day

Today I am being totally lazy. I went to work this morning on only 2 hours of sleep. Fun times there. I was pretty happy that I made it to work on time cause I was so not feeling well this morning. Then again I can only blame myself cause I knew what I was doing. Last night I went to go see Bubblegum Villians. It was tons of fun. I went with Matthew, Maricel, and Blake. We pregamed at Matt's house before we headed over to West Warwick. It was tons of fun. The bands were pretty good. The last band I wasn't too fond of though. Didn't get out of Blaze's Billiards until they closed and by that time I was so hungry. Ended up getting food at Denny's so I didn't get back home until almost 3:30 am. I drank more than I should have and I paid for it this morning. Though I had been good for not drinking for almost 3 weeks.

Anyways, 2 more days until school starts. I need to get my books and school notebooks soon. I think I will do that after I pick my mom up from her testing at the hospital. I'm really hungry now cause I haven't eaten since breakfast and I only had an omelette. Now I have to go see what is in my kitchen to make. Kinda wish I didn't nap for so long today cause it's going to be a long night of being awake unless I take sleeping pills. So I guess I'm gonna go cook me some food and turn on a movie.

Just blogging...

Well I have paid for my full tuition at CCRI and now waiting for classes to start on Tuesday. I am actually pretty excited about starting school again. There are a couple of people that I know in my classes which is good cause then I won't feel so alone. I am only taking 2 courses at CCRI this semester. My Monday class is Intro to Human Services and my Wednesday class is Drugs and Human Behavior. I plan on taking these two courses this semester and then transfer them over to URI for next semester. Once I am back at URI I have one more year left and then I'm done. YAY! After that I still have no idea what I want to do. Oh, for everyone who doesn't know my major it's Human Services (CCRI) or Human Development and Family (URI). I am thinking about doing the teaching thing after I graduate because I have always wanted to teach Kindergarden. I am still iffy on that though. For now I guess I just have to wait and see what path I end up on.

Tonight I am going to see my friend Rob's band, Bubblegum Villians, at Blaze's Billiards in West Warwick. I am wicked excited to see them perform cause I have not been to one of their shows in so long. Also, it'll be nice to see some of my friends that I have not seen in awhile either. I wish them luck on their show tonight but I know they don't need it cause they totally rock. Other than the show tonight there really wasn't much going on today. Though I did work for the first time in a week and a half. Let me tell you that it was a bit wierd going back after having so much free time. It was good seeing my coworkers again. I missed them a lot.

Unable to sleep

Right now I am wide awake wishing that I could fall asleep. Though thanks to Gina for getting me all wired up on tea and honey and then on cheese and crackers it's going to be awhile before it's bedtime. Gina and I have been watching some interesting movies on tv. I believe the first one we watched was called I think I love my wife and it was made me laugh. The only part I didn't like was when the husband almost cheated on his wife but in the end he made the right choice to not cheat. Right now we are watching Home for the Holiday and this movie actually makes me happy that my family is not so crazy. It has some funny parts in it. Other than watching those 2 movies we've been playing games on our computer or watching shows we've recorded. Sounds kinda lame but I am quite content on doing what I am doing so far. Gina and I have had some crazy moments like laughing about absolutely nothing.

So it's Friday morning and there is so much that I think I need to do today. Though right now I can't think of it all except for printing out my schedule and going to CCRI to get my student id. Also, I need to drop by work to see if I am working at all this weekend or anytime during the weekdays. Though I doubt I'll be working much or even at all since it's still so slow. I know I was suppose to go to the spa with Josh because we both had the day off but I forgot to make the appointments. So we are going to go when we have another day off together. Hopefully it'll be sometime before the wedding cause it would be nice to be all relaxed and loose so I can dance the night away. I have a feeling that I'll be hanging out with Gina again and maybe spend some time with Katie D.

First time blogging

Hey! So I decided to try this blogging thing out for the first time after looking through my friend Sara's. I figured that this would be a good way for my friends that I don't talk to all the time to keep up with my life. Right now...I'm just sitting on my friend Gina's room watching the food network. I'm about to start school next Wed. and I'm actually excited about going back after being out of college for almost 2 years. Lately I have been wondering what I should do about my life and what I need to do in order to get where I want to be. The only problem I am having is I have no clue what I want to do. If I do well this semester I only have a year left of college and a year can go by really fast. So I'm getting kinda worried....

Work for me is slow since there is not much going on in Newport during Winter. I actually miss going to work sometimes. I guess maybe because I also have friends there that I don't see unless I go to work or we make plans ahead if we aren't too busy. As least as I know that work won't interfere with my school work. This year is definitely slower than last year.

I'm a girl scout leader for Carey Elementary School right now. Though their program will be ending at the end of the month. Lucky for me there will be another program starting up again in the beginning of February that will last until April. Girl Scouts is helping me keep busy through the Winter season. Plus the girls are not that bad to hang out with for an hour. It's difficult to think up different activities that will keep these girls entertained every week unless they give us ideas beforehand. I help out with other troops when needed.

Other than that for right now I really have nothing new or exciting going on right now. Though next week I have Sara's bachlorette party and wedding. I can't wait to see Sara and so excited for all the wedding stuff.
