The week my sister and nephew came to visit was the week before my spring break. I was really happy that I only had class on Monday and Wed. which gave me more time to spend with them. I did a lot of babysitting for my sister so she could go hang out with her friends more. The only bad thing is that I had diaper duty the whole week. Blake is lucky that I love him very much. Blake and I spent that Tuesday together while my sister and mom went shopping off island. We were suppose to have a play date with Katie D.'s niece but her sister in law wasn't feeling well. Went out partying or clubbing after we put Blake to bed which was usually around 7 or 7:30 pm. Johna, Madison, Vicki, Meagan, and I decided that we were going back on our diets after that week cause we had to go to all the resturants that we have to go to when Johna comes to visit. We were definitely fattys. I was pretty entertained the one morning when Blake was in bed with me and was into the munchies. Blake thought it would be fun to feed me handfuls of munchies. So Blake would put a handful of munchies in my mouth reach back into the bag and grab another handful and shove it into my mouth. I couldn't chew that fast so by the time he was shoving his 6 handful of chips in my mouth I had to signal to my sister that I needed help stopping him. Blake was so proud. He couldn't stop laughing at me. Took Blake to the park twice when he was here. He loves the swings. Though he did enjoy going down the slides as well.
St. Patrick's Day Parade- What an awesome day. I had to work in the morning so I didn't get to pre-game with my friends before the parade. I got out of work at 11:30 and walked down Thames St. trying to find my sister and friends. I couldn't find them but I did find some of my family and had a couple of drinks with them. Finally found my family and we walked down to one of my Aunt Tricia's house cause she was going to watch Blake while we were all out. My cousins Liam and Evan were having a St. Patrick's Day party there so hung out there a bit. Blake played with his cousin for a bit before being put down for a nap. I didn't really drink much because I had to pick Blake up around 6:30-7 pm and put him to bed before I could go out again. I volunteered to pick up Blake so Johna wouldn't have to leave the party. Though Johna and Meagan showed up at the house maybe 30 mins later. We then proceeded to drink at the house. We made skittle shots but since we didn't have a mixer we used one of Blake's sippy cups. Don't worry we washed it out really well afterwards so there was no lingering taste of alcohol. I thought I was gonna have a lot more to drink that night but I am glad that I didn't since I did have work the next morning.
The day after the parade I had to bring Blake and Johna to the airport after work. It was really sad. I miss them so much already.
Spring Break 09- SICK the whole freakin' time. Whatever Blake had I got and worse. It sucked. The only time I left my bed was when I had to go the bathroom of course or that one day of work. Last Saturday was Vicki's b-day party and we rented out 2 rooms at the Marriott. Vicki and I shared a room since we both were sick. It was funny how much medicine Vicki and I had combined in our bathroom. I drank very little since I didn't want to mix alcohol and cold medicine together. Vicki's birthday was the only fun time I had on my break. Spring break went by really fast and now its back to school for me. Though I have only like 5 more weeks of school left. Where did the semester go?
