February so far

I am kinda stressing out on school right now because I am not sure if I will be able to pay for this semester. Hopefully I will be able to stick it out for the semester. If not I guess it will be ok. I decided that I want to graduate in December instead of this summer. I think doing my intern during the summer will be too stressful for me and I really want Marc and Gina to be able to be in RI when I graduate. If I walk the stage in May I don't think that they will be able to be back here for that and December will be much easier to do. My sister will be graduating in early May so I have to start looking for tickets. I am so excited for her.

I am stilling slowly putting everything away in the house after moving in her almost 3 months ago. I want to get the in-law apartment at least all set so I can use that to entertain friends. Then when my mom moves in here I will be able to help her with the rest of the house so she can entertain her friends as well. I like how the house can seperate us so we can do things seperately. I have a feeling that my sister will still share my room with me when she comes to visit then sleeping in the in-law bedroom. It's ok. I miss her so much. I can't wait for them to come up for St. Patrick's Day parade. Wish that her husband could take the time off to come with them.

Semester 2 begins

I finally just got my internet/phone/tv set up this week. I will be able to blog more now. My last semester of college hopefully starts tomorrow. So far I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Quite nice to only have to go off island and not waste as much gas twice a week. I will be talking to my advisor on Wed. so it might change a bit. Winter vacation went by really fast even though I was off for alittle over a month.

My sister is coming to visit in March for the St. Patrick's Day parade. So excited to see her and my nephew again. I really miss them. I believe they will be driving up. I will be counting down until I see them again. We have a guest room that we are setting up so maybe my sister will sleep in there. Then again knowing my sister she does love snuggling up with me. lol. And wearing all my clothes.....

Trying to be better at blogging

I want to do better this year about blogging and try to get more people to follow me as well. I have been really horrible at blogging and I use to love to do blog when I first started. So far in 2010 I have been doing nothing but working and trying to not think about the next semester coming up soon. Though once this semester starts that means that I have that semester and an internship left. Thank God!

It has been great seeing friends this vacation. I have missed a lot of them. I am determined to get a wii by the end of the month. I can't wait. Gina already bought me a game for wii. It's this kinda nerf game that I can use the gun for the game and then it comes with 3 nerf darts so I can use it on other people. I will try to think of some goals for this year and put it up next time. Well now its time for me to play with Mason who is the cutest 5 month old baby in Rhode Island.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I am such a bad blogger but I am going to try to blog more now that it's 2010. I have finished my first semester of my last year and I have to say it's such a relief to know that I passed all of my classes. I was a bit worried about my Personal Finance class since I am horrible at at math and any finance but I passed it and don't have to worry about retaking it. So now I have one more semester and a summer internship and then I will be a college graduate. YAY! Winter vacation has been quite peaceful.

So I spent my New Year's eve at Gina's house and I am wide awake sitting in my room at her house. It was nice spending New Year's eve with friends (Gina, Chris, Leanne, and Patrick) even though I was the only single one there. Though I got to say I have no idea who my first kiss was of the year because it seemed like everyone kissed me at the same time after they kissed their significant other. We played a lot of games and definitely got drunk on alcohol and fat on all the unhealthy snack foods. I have to be at work at 6:30 am today and I really should try to get some sleep in me. Though there really isn't a point in my trying to sleep since I will be up again in less than an hour and I can sleep after work is over. I haven't talked to Marc in over a month now and it got me a bit sad ringing in the New Year without him. Anyways, I will try to blog again soon and not be a stranger.

My last year of college starts

Tomorrow I am starting my last year of college. I am so excited. I can't believe that it will actually be my last year as long as I pass all of classes. I am determined to do very well which means that tonight will probably be my last night out at O'Brien's for awhile. Makes me a bit sad. Though I might be able to join my friends for trivia as long as I am not backed up on school work or I have a huge test the next day. The rest of the year I plan on revolving my life around school. Sounds like fun, huh? I really should start thinking about what I would like to do with my degree but it is a year away. Then again a year can go really fast. Woo hoo.....

My summer went by fast even though my life did revolve around Pier 49 and The Black Dog. My sister's family came to visit in August and I loved spending time with them. I can't wait to go see them in October for Blake's birthday. Makes me sad seeing him getting so big. Right now my nephew has pneumonia and a swollen eye from a bug bite that he got. :( I hope that he gets better soon and that I wish I could be there to give him hugs and kisses. Well, that's it for now.

Bored at work

So I figured I would blog while I am doing nothing at work right now. I am getting off in like 35 mins but I still need something to do and since I haven't blogged in awhile thought it would be a good idea. I can't believe it's August already. Wondering where the summer went. Though I am kinda getting excited about going back to URI soon. One more year of school and then I will officially be done with school hopefully. YAY!!!!! I mostly have afternoon and night classes but that's ok. I get to sleep in a bit more.

I've developed a crush this summer which actually has surprised me since I haven't really liked anyone in such a long time. It's been said that my crush likes me back so we'll just have to see where this relationship goes. We've been friends for awhile and we do work together and go to the same college. I think it would be fun to date again and I think this time I am actually ready to start dating again. It has been years since I have really been on a real date. Wish me luck!

SUMMER!!!!

It's finally summer. I am so happy. The weather has been beautiful and since we have opened outside at the resturant I am able to make money and enjoy the weather all at the same time. I can work on getting that tan I have always wanted....oh wait...I'm tan year round. Lol. I finished my semester at CCRI with good grades. Now I have to work on getting back into URI so I can finish my last year of college. Note to self...need to do that very soon.

Well, last week I was in Cheyenne, Wyoming for an old friend's wedding. I haven't seen Allison in like 14 years and it was so great to see her again especially on her special day. Her wedding and wedding reception was a lot less formal than I am use to but it was a good kind of change for me. I did feel like I was a bit overdressed. I arrived in Cheyenne 2 days before her wedding because I wanted to hang out with Amber who I haven't seen since 8th grade. I got to see Allison for about 20-30 mins at Applebee's when I arrived. She wanted to meet up before she had to go pick up her in-laws in Denver. Cheyenne wasn't all that exciting but I did have fun hanging out with old friends. I saw 17 again in their theater and toured the town seeing all the highlights there and did the Big Boots scavenger hunt. I wish I was able to see Amber's parents but her father is overseas since he's in the military and Amber's mom had a death in her family that week. :( Which means that I am gonna have to go visit them again. :)

Now I am getting ready for Leanne's wedding in June. Can't wait to see her and Sara again. Gina and I are driving to Maryland on the 10th right after girl scouts pretty much. I have decided that I am gonna try to change what my blog looks like..just have to figure out how to do it. Sara's blog looks so awesome and I wish that mine could look pretty too.
